Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does my pool need to be full for the leak detection?
A: Yes, please make sure the pool is filled to the normal operating level (midway up the skimmer face) and that the pool water is clean and clear. This ensures that the entire system gets checked and nothing overlooked. We cannot fully warranty a leak detection that is not able to be completely checked. Please see our pre-arrival check list to ensure you get the most out of our service.
Q: What time will you be at my house?
A: The only guaranteed timed appointment is between 8am – 9am. This time slot can be selected if you need to meet us or let us in to the pool area. However, due to the unique approach we take with leak detection, it is very difficult to schedule timed appointments throughout the day. We like to tell people we are worse than the cable company when it comes to times but for a good reason. We never know how long any job will take. We understand your time is very important so please understand that it is not necessary for you to be home for our testing process. We only need access to your pool cage and equipment. There is no need for us to enter your home which is nice because we can show up while your at work, running errands or playing golf.
Q: Do I need to be home for the leak detection?
A: No, we only need access to the pool. Make sure if the pool is caged that it is unlocked and accessible. Payment arrangements will be made ahead of time if you are not there for the appointment.
Q: How long does the leak detection take?
A: Most systems take 1 – 3 hours, with that being said, leak detection times vary depending on the features of the system and the location of the leak or leaks.

A: 95% of our repairs are done without draining water out of your pool. We use an epoxy that hardens underwater to eliminate the need to drain the water down. However, there are some construction related repairs that require us to lower the level of the water.
Q: Should I let the water drain out so you can see where the water stops leaking?
A: No. We require that the pool be filled to its normal operating level so we can check the entire system for leaks. We need to be able to see the leak and if the water is low or at the level of the leak it may be hard to pinpoint.
Q: Do you have a warranty?
A: All leak detections have a 30 day warranty. We consider pools leak free if we do not hear otherwise within 30 days. Our intention is to make sure your leak problems are taken care, we found that our customers are more prone to monitor there pools after our leak detection when they know there is a warranty period.
